David Horton is the senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church. He had served as an Air Force Chaplain for the past 15 years. David was also an Associate Pastor at Mars Hill Church in Acworth, GA before serving in the Air Force. He received his M.Div. from Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA
David has been married to Beth for 36 years and they have one son, Joshua. He loves fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
Rene Williams has served as administrative assistant and treasurer of First Presbyterian Church since December 1998. Formerly a native of Corinth, MS, she graduated from Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1985 and is a registered nurse.
Rene married Jim in 1985 and they have two children, Abby and Annie and a wonderful grandson, Francis. She enjoys cooking for her family, traveling, reading fiction and non-fiction, and playing with her one grand-dog, Sully, and a grand-bird, Theo.
Beth Horton has been with First Presbyterian Church as our church admin since June 2024.
She has been married to David since 1990, and they have one son Joshua. She loves reading, traveling and anything to do with the computer and spending time with her family.
